Hi everyone! I hope you had a good weekend! Mine was awesome, as usual, although it started off a little bumpy. Early Saturday morning, we were out with our dog mom and were just hanging out watching TV. I checked out the contents of the counter and didn't see anything exciting. However, I did see a little device that looked kind of interesting. Moxie and dog-mom said to just leave it alone, but of course I could not do that. So, I pulled on it and brought it to the couch and played with it a little bit and one thing led to another. Moxie was really interested in it now and pulled the back part off of it. But I still had the good part and kept playing with it. We were having a great time with this little device--it crunched really well and even made some funny sounds. But after I finished crunching it, it stopped making any sounds. Just then, my mom came in and looked at me (with the little device in my mouth) and Moxie (with the back of the thing in her mouth) and said something I can't repeat here (bad words). Uh oh, I guess we were in trouble. Mom took the thing out of my and Moxie's mouths and I thought she was going to cry. She then fixed us our breakfast without saying a word, although I could tell she was really mad at us. Honest, I didn't know that little thing was so important to her, I just thought it was a toy--Moxie too. We had no idea that it was our mom's cell phone, whatever that is (or was, in this case). All we knew was that she was mad. Right after that, our grandma came over and both of them went to the store to find a new phone. They waited a loooong time at the store and found out that none of the ones mom wanted were in stock so a new phone had to be ordered and would come sometime this week. That's fine with me, she's on that phone way too much as it is. She needs to be getting us more treats instead of talking to people all the time on that thing. I don't know why my mom was on the phone with the cell phone company for so long the next day, it sounded like she was trying to see if her "contacts" were kept by the cell phone company--they weren't, so my mom was mad about that too. I tried to tell her that it's no big deal, won't they just call back? Anyway, mom still took us for a nice long walk Saturday afternoon around the neighborhood, which was really fun! Neighbors brought over some holiday treats too, which was great! We didn't get to go to Sunflower, but mom went to Costco and bought us some biscuits and other treats. No chicken though. Maybe later! Then on Sunday we just hung out and watched a lot of TV. Mom was vacuuming and that is always fun because me and Moxie like to play "get the vacuum". That's a really fun game until my mom trips over us or the vacuum cord. She didn't trip this time, but she did step on my tail once! Oh, and I don't want to forget to tell you that our cousin Glory now has two blue ribbons she won at the dog show in Yuma this last weekend!! Good job Glory! This was her first show even and she had a really long car ride and got to stay in a hotel with Marvel and her mom. Wow, that sounds really fun! One of these days I hope to go to a show as well! My paw is pretty much healed now from the vase incident, maybe mom will take me to the dog class next Saturday. I say it's my turn and that Moxie shouldn't have all the fun, or treats, right??!

Well, bye for now!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I hope everyone had a fun holiday--I know I did!! First, we played all morning long (I took apart a really nice toy that my mom bought us the other night!) then took a nap and ate a big lunch. Oh, and it rained for a little bit and we had so much fun out in the rain playing and then coming inside and playing on the couches. Then, my grandma came over and brought some peanut butter treats for us from Trader Joe's. Boy, were they good!! I almost buried one of them in the backyard but Moxie was following me so I just ate it instead. After that, my mom and grandma went out for lunch and when they came back, they took us for a really long walk. I kissed my grandma a lot and sat real nice for her when she asked me to. That was fun! We got to see lots of people in the neighborhood that were hanging out and of course we had to stop and say hi to them. Then I was really tired and went to bed. I am hoping that we can go to the dog bakery this weekend, but I don't know. My mom said we are going to clean out one of the closets tonight. I can't wait and you know that I will be helping with that task, Dazzle-style!! Stay tuned and I'll let you know how it goes! Hopefully I won't break anything or otherwise get into trouble, but I just can't help myself! I love my mom's shoes and clothes, so this should be really fun!

Hi everyone!

We had a very busy weekend so it's taken me a little while to get caught up. First, on Saturday afternoon, our sister Penny came up to our house from Tucson. She spent the whole day here! She, her mom, my mom, and Scottie went to the dog class, although they said it was cancelled. But, they got to hang around together with our cousin Glory for an hour or so and practice whatever they do at the dog class. I haven't been to the class in a long time, so I don't really remember what they do, although I do remember that there are treats involved!! And really good ones, too!! Anyway, after that, they all went to the Sunflower place where we get our food and treats and stuff. Beth from Sunflower got to see Penny and they said that Scottie was really having fun too!! Then the dogs had to stay in the car while the grown-ups went to the Lee Lee Asian market to get us some really good stuff--thanks mom!! Then Penny came back to our house for the rest of the day and just hung out. Sunday, my mom was cleaning and I got to go for a ride to Wag n Wash in Phoenix. They have some really neat stuff and I got petted and lots of treats there!! Thankfully, my mom didn't see the need to wash me there, I wasn't really in the mood for a bath that day. Monday morning, I did this thing that my mom and grandma think is really neat: when I get full of treats or food, I take the extra food outside and dig a small hole and very carefully place the food in there. Then, I take my nose and carefully cover up the treat or food. I don't think it's that big of a deal, but everyone else thinks its funny and cute! I just don't want my dog mom, Moxie, or anyone else to get that food, so that is why I bury it. Then, I can come back to it later, but for some reason, it's usually gone when I check back. Maybe Jack took it, or maybe Whitney. In any event, someone is digging up my treats. I guess that's OK, we have lots of them. Oh, and did I tell you that I broke an antique cookie jar last night? I didn't mean to, but it was up on the counter and I just wanted to see it. I don't think my mom was too happy with that. Oh well, bye for now, gotta go play!

Hi everyone!

It has been a very busy week here! First, let me tell you how much fun my sister Moxie had at the dog show last weekend. I didn't get to go to the show (which is just as well because my paw needed time to heal), but instead I lounged around and ate treats all weekend long with my grandma. Don't tell my mom how many treats grandma gave me--it was a LOT! She even went to Petsmart for some special treats for us--what a great grandma!! So…while I was sitting on the couch watching true crime stories with grandma, Moxie was outside for hours in the WIND down in Tucson. She said it was so windy, all our stuff like bowls and towels kept almost blowing away! She said that peoples' tents and mats were blowing all over the place! But, she said she had a really good time with her friend, Maggie. She got lots of treats too, and even a couple of ribbons. Good job, Moxie! And, she got to see her sister Penny and her cousin Glory. The bad news was that our good friend Ashley got bitten on the foot by a spider--icky!! She had to go to the doctor and get all kinds of pills. Poor Ashley, I hope she feels better soon!! Then on Wednesday, my mom took out my staples from my foot. I thought for sure that it was going to hurt and I was fully prepared to throw a Jack-sized tantrum, but she used a special little tool that did not hurt and made the staples just fly right out! That was easy! Well, by for now!!!

Hi everyone!
It's Veterans' Day 2008 and my mom has the day off for the holiday! Well, I have had a very rough week. It started on last Thursday, when I broke a vase and stepped in the glass. I don't understand why my mom was so upset, it was just a little blood. We went to the vet and I had to have 9 stitches. But, I didn't feel a thing because I was asleep when they did this. They also did my nails and ears while I was asleep. Then, on Saturday morning, I decided to take out my stitches myself. I don't understand why my mom was so mad about that. We had to go back to the vet and this time, they STAPLED my toe where I took my stitches out. Now, that did hurt but I got lots of treats after that. My friend Jack came with for his annual physical exam too. Yuck, they took a bunch of blood from him. I don't see what the big deal was, but everyone was happy and said he was really healthy. They gave him a bunch of treats too! Then we went home and I got to go to the dog class for a little while. After about 10 minutes or so, though, I got real tired and went to the car. Then Scottie and Moxie went to the class. Well, that's it for now!!

Hi everyone! It is a great Saturday afternoon here in sunny Arizona. My sister, Moxie and I, spent almost two hours at the Taste of SanTan festival at the SanTan Village shopping center. Wow, was that fun!! There was a band there that was really loud, but we liked listening to them. Here's what happened, check this out: Moxie and I drove over to the mall to meet Kara and Glory, who is our cousin, by the way. Glory is about a month younger than me and Moxie, but she's really neat! Once we got to the mall, all three of us got to go inside the dog bakery (Just Dogs), where we met Katie (the owner and oh so cool!) and lots of other people. HOWEVER, I was I guess a bit naughty, because I tipped over a bunch of stuff on the shelves there. I just wanted to see what was up there--but my mom got mad and made me sit down. So after my mom bought us a bunch of treats and we got petted by lots of people, we all headed out to the outside of the mall. Everywhere we went, people wanted to see and pet the three of us! We all walked together to the end of the mall where the band was, and boy, was that fun! There were tons of kids and people who stopped to pet us, take our pictures, and talk to us. Everyone wanted to know our names and how old we were. Then we walked back to the dog bakery and on the way back there were people giving away sodas. My and Glory's mom got sodas and our mom got us some ice cubes. Everything was going great until Moxie decided Glory was not going to take her ice cube and when she was told otherwise, she pouted for a few minutes. What a baby! Anyway, we went back to the dog bakery, then to the car and went home to play with our dog mom. We were really tired after all the fun we had. Thanks to Kara and Glory for showing us around that mall. What a fun time!

Hi everyone!! My name is Dazzle and I am one of the three "Ernie/Jill" girls that was born in April. I am a very busy girl with lots of things to say, so my mom suggested I start a blog so that I could share my thoughts on our website. I am about 4 and a half months old and I have a lot of energy. I love to play with my sisters and my mom. I have two sisters, and they are Penny and Moxie. Penny doesn't live with me but she doesn't live very far away and she comes over to visit sometimes. My sisters are really fun to play tug of war with. My favorite toys are stuffed animals that I can get a good grip on.

I also love my special friend Jack. He's not my dad, but he is lots of fun and is very nice to me. I like to take naps next to him because he snores real loud and makes all kinds of funny noises. I never got to see my dad, Ernie, but everyone says he was real special. They also say I look like him, which is neat.

We went to the Just Dogs Gourmet Bakery last Thursday night out at the San Tan Village. Every Thursday night is "Yappy hour", where all kinds of dogs and people get together and eat treats and have fun. It was a blast! I got to meet Poncho and ChaCha, who are Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Their mom owns the dog bakery and they gave me lots of treats. Some of the treats were hard to eat because I don't have all my big girl teeth in yet. I love this dog bakery because it is so fun and they have lots of toys I can persuade my mom to buy me.

Some of my favorite treats are the Lakosh fish treats and the Petkind tripe treats, both of which we get from our good friend, Beth, at Sunflower Pet Supply. This is our all-time favorite store to get food and stuff at! These treats are awesome and after we go there we hang out at the coffee shop afterwards where people can stop by to pet me and say hi. I like to be petted and to give lots and lots of kisses.

Well, bye for now!
